American Eagle Palladium Coins
In 2017, the United States Mint introduced an American Eagle One Ounce Palladium Bullion Coin, followed by a collector version palladium proof coin in 2018 and a reverse proof coin in 2019.
This year, for the first time, the United States Mint is offering the 2020 American Eagle One Ounce Palladium Uncirculated Coin for collectors! Each coin contains one ounce of .9995 palladium. Authorized by Congress in 2010 and first issued in 2017, they are the first numismatic palladium coins produced by the United States Mint. American Eagle Palladium coins are part of a complete precious metals portfolio available from the United States Mint. The American Eagle Palladium coin is the only palladium proof coin whose weight, content and .9995 purity are guaranteed by the United States Government.
Coin Designs
Obverse: Adapted from Adolph A. Weinman's Mercury Dime features Liberty with winged Phrygian cap. Inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST and 2020.
